Onaqui Alert. Off the beaten path in the Great Desert Basin on a small hill I am hidden in an outcrop of rocks surrounded by American Mustangs. As I watch a band of Onaqui mustangs the sun warms the land and the wind gently blows causing sage and grasses to rustle across the barren land. It is one of nature's finest symphonies with the "bestest" of company. Far off in the distance an occasional car drives by and although I cannot hear the drum of the car's engine the horses turn to look with pointed ears: An Onaqui Alert.
