Description
Monsoon storm passing through Mount Lemmon which is the highest point in the Santa Catalina Mountains with a summit elevation of 9,159 feet.
Where is Mt Lemmon? It's located in the Coronado National Forest north of Tucson, Arizona, USA. and was known by the Tohono O'odham nation as Babad Do'ag (bah-bahd doe-awk), meaning “Frog Mountain”. From the Tucson valley, the Santa Catalinas look like a giant sleeping frog. Additionally the word “Tucson” also comes from the Tohono O'odham language roughly translating to “at the foot of the black hill”.
