Framed photographs of my six siblings and I adorned in 60s style outfits, hairdos and pointedly colorful eye glasses were prominently displayed in the home I grew up in. The happy memories of these photos, coupled with my newfound love of grandchildren and passion for nature drove me to purchase a digital camera. Little did I know just how much that camera would change my life! One photo after another, click after click; college classes, seminars, and months of photographing, downloading and posting prompted me to retire and see the world through a Nikon lens or two or three... What I have and continue to see and experience through a lens, or two or three is captured and shared in the photos posted by LM Manifold Photography on Facebook,...

Why do horses curl their upper lip? The Flehmen response is a biological response to smell. The curling back of the upper lip (and often pulling their head back at the same time) helps activate an organ that allows horses to sense chemicals in the air, particularly pheromones.
Lisa Manifold replied:
Thank-you Barbie!!
