Breastfeeding is a mother's gift to herself, her baby and the earth. - Pamela K. Wiggins. Not every mother can breastfeed... such as wild foals removed by the BLM from their mares. This young foal is in the Heber Horse Herd in the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest, Arizona, USA. The Forest Service is in the process of creating a management plan that will perhaps result in removal of many of these National Treasures.
