Beautiful clouds, and great timing to capture that lightning!

Artist's Description

A monsoon storm cell provided a brilliant sight in the Wupatki National Monument, Arizona, USA. I was visiting the Park when a monsoon storm formed. The storm began as the sunset and continued for a few hours. This photo (looking eastward) captured the red sunset coloring the clouds as I was leaving.

About Lisa Manifold

Lisa Manifold

Framed photographs of my six siblings and I adorned in 60s style outfits, hairdos and pointedly colorful eye glasses were prominently displayed in the home I grew up in. The happy memories of these photos, coupled with my newfound love of grandchildren and passion for nature drove me to purchase a digital camera. Little did I know just how much that camera would change my life! One photo after another, click after click; college classes, seminars, and months of photographing, downloading and posting prompted me to retire and see the world through a Nikon lens or two or three... What I have and continue to see and experience through a lens, or two or three is captured and shared in the photos posted by LM Manifold Photography on Facebook,...
