Portrait of an endangered Mexican Grey Wolf at the SouthWest Wildlife Conservation Center. The center has been instrumental in the preservation of the endangered Mexican gray wolf from 7 in 1976 to more than 100 in the wild today.

Framed photographs of my six siblings and I adorned in 60s style outfits, hairdos and pointedly colorful eye glasses were prominently displayed in the home I grew up in. The happy memories of these photos, coupled with my newfound love of grandchildren and passion for nature drove me to purchase a digital camera.
