Artist's Description
Friends skipping stones as the sun set at Antelope Island in the U.S. state of Utah. It's sooo much fun skipping rocks.
Bit of Trivia about skipping rocks: On September 6, 2013 in Pennsylvania's Allegheny National Forest, Kurt Steiner achieved the Guinness World Record for “the most consecutive skips of a stone on water” when his skipping stone touched the water 88 times.
About Lisa Manifold
Framed photographs of my six siblings and I adorned in 60s style outfits, hairdos and pointedly colorful eye glasses were prominently displayed in the home I grew up in. The happy memories of these photos, coupled with my newfound love of grandchildren and passion for nature drove me to purchase a digital camera. Little did I know just how much that camera would change my life! One photo after another, click after click; college classes, seminars, and months of photographing, downloading and posting prompted me to retire and see the world through a Nikon lens or two or three... What I have and continue to see and experience through a lens, or two or three is captured and shared in the photos posted by LM Manifold Photography on Facebook,...
